IBM Champion

In June 2011, for the first time in its history, IBM recognised 50 key individuals from around the Lotus/IBM Collaboration Solutions community as IBM Champions.  All non-IBMers, these individuals are described as:

IBM Champions are business leaders, IT professionals, developers, and educators who lead and mentor others to help them make the best use of IBM solutions and services.

I was delighted and extremely proud to have been selected as one of those initial Champions selected for 2011/12.  I have since been recognised as an IBM Champion for 2013 and 2015.

Blogger of the Year

In January 2012 at Lotusphere, I was recognised as the PlanetLotus Blogger of the Year for 2011/12. Voted for by readers of the PlanetLotus.org site, this award has previously been handed to such luminaries as Ed Brill and Mary Beth Raven. As this award is voted for by my peers within the Lotus community, this meant a huge amount to me.

IBM Marketing Award

In May 2012 my company, Collaboration Matters, was awarded the ‘IBM Software Platinum Achievement Award – Outstanding Marketing Achievement’ in recognition of our innovative and engaging Social Business marketing efforts during 2011/12.
