You can also subscribe via iTunes or any other podcatcher, or stream straight from the site.  If you haven’t listened yet, you have no idea what you’re missing! Give it a try…

We try to keep innovating on the show.  From this week onwards we will also be publishing a text transcript of the show for those that are hard of hearing and to aid searching for content that appears in the audio recording. Look out for this on the Monday following publication.  We’re also considering video, but feel that this would not add much right now for the significant extra work involved by all participants – let us know how you feel about this…

Lastly, we are actively seeking sponsors and advertisers from around the community, so if you are interested in raising the profile of your company, product, solution or event there really is no better way.  Just contact us for more details.

you enjoy them, please tell others in your organisation and beyond.
We recognise that the podcast format isn’t for everyone, but
there is such great content shared by our guests on the show, it would
be wonderful to see it reach a wider audience!

Thanks again to all those that take part in, listen and offer feedback
on the show – we appreciate it!

Review of 2010, and wishes for 2011

Darren and Lisa Duke and I got together for a couple of hours around the roaring fire skype headsets on Thursday to record the final This Week in Lotus of 2010 – ‘Wives and Other Angry Birds – 2010 The Year in Review‘.

We discussed the podcast series itself (how our first 32 episodes and 7 months have gone, what we can do better, plans for Lotusphere 2011 etc.), our Review of 2010 (the major stories and memes of the year, and our reactions to them), and finally our IBM/Lotus-related wishes for 2011…  Of course we threw in a tip or three at the end too!

Given this was a special episode we ran to rather longer than our usual 60-70 minutes (more like 105 in the end!), so if you have a long solo commute over the holiday period, this might be your ideal accompaniment!  Download from thisweekinlotus.com, stream from here or subscribe in iTunes or many other podcast directory services…

Thank you to everyone who has listened to This Week in Lotus during 2010, and of course especially to those that have taken part in our little weekly round-table discussion.  We really do appreciate your support and involvement!  We’ll be taking this week off, and will be back during the first week in January.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and I wish you a peaceful and enjoyable New Year!
