LotusLive Notes 25-user trial now available from your LotusLive admin panel

My co-author on this blog, Erik Vos, spotted today that there is now an option in the LotusLive company administration panel to add a trial subscription to LotusLive Notes.

From your organisation administration screen:

Select Email/Add Trial:

Then tick “LotusLive Notes Trial” and confirm – this will update your subscriptions:

At this stage, a new option “Lotus Notes” will be available in the left-hand pane, select this:

This will take you to the new panes for managing a LotusLive Notes subscription:

Working through these panels, allows the LotusLive administrator to set a number of details for the organisation’s LotusLive Notes environment.  First up, sub-domain name:

Then, organisation name:

Then server base name:

Finally, confirm the details configured:

This has then set up the LotusLive Notes trial account.  One can also configure the Instant Messaging and Timezone options:

Next up, go into the User Accounts panel for LotusLive, and for each trial user, either add LotusLive Notes to an existing user account, or else create a new one:

This process is very very straightforward, and only take a few minutes to complete.

If you’re considering LotusLive Notes to replace or extend your existing on-premise Notes/Domino infrastructure, then give this trial a go.  If you don’t currently have a LotusLive account, register for a LotusLive Notes trial via the web site.
