Online document editing coming soon to LotusLive and Lotus Symphony via eXpresso

Now, this is exciting news…

Real-Time Document Collaboration for IBM LotusLive

eXpresso is embarking on a special project to provide real-time document collaboration inside IBM LotusLive

Powered by eXpresso’s award-winning document collaboration, users can open and edit shared Lotus Symphony or Microsoft Office files directly in their browser. You never have to leave LotusLive or manually download and upload files. As we continue to work with the LotusLive team, users can look forward to working with others on the same document at the same time and blending their usage of Lotus Symphony and Microsoft Office.

Stop hunting through emails for the latest version of a file
Access and edit shared business docs directly from inside IBM LotusLive
Blend your company’s usage of Lotus Symphony and Microsoft Office to save money
Gain greater control over how people interact with your files

Whilst IBM’s own Project Concord promises to deliver online collaborative document editing, it is still a way in the future.

eXpresso are bringing their collaborative editing tools to LotusLive and Lotus Symphony right now – they are opening up invites for their beta program.  Here’s an overview of what’s being offered:
