Tell us what You Know about Lotus Software!
We want to use an inside-out approach in developing the Lotus Knows campaign elements by tapping into the energy in the Lotus community to inspire advocacy and generate real content and excitement at campaign launch. Many of you are already involved helping to get the message out virally through your blogs and tweets.
The next milestone happens on August 19th. On August 19 at 8:00 am EDT US we are launching the “Lotus Knows IdeaJam” that will run for 72 hours. It is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts, ideas and experiences to help shape our strategy and communications around the Lotus Knows campaign.
The Jam is divided into four core themes:
1. “Lotus knows working smarter depends on great technology…” – Cool features of Lotus technology that you cannot live without, or that people do not know about
2. “Lotus knows marketing is key to technology adoption…” – Ideas on how you would build awareness and evangelism in our market
3. “Lotus knows technology is only great with client success…” Customer success stories (roll out strategy, communications, education, etc.)
4. “Lotus knows the world is getting smaller, flatter and smarter...” Ideas about how end-users have benefitted from Lotus offerings around the world
Jammers will be able to vote and promote ideas so that hot topics bubble to the top. After the Jam, the top ideas in each theme will be collected and evaluated for potential use during the campaign. In addition, we will ask participants to create videos to be leveraged in our overall campaign.
We look forward to you joining the Jam to share your ideas about what “Lotus Knows.” We encourage you to be open, share your ideas, vote, comment and invite others to participate.
Register now at http://lotusknows.ideajam.net/register (not required if you already have an IdeaJam ID).
To showcase some of the great product functionality word demos provided, an FTP site will be available for Jam participants to upload videos or demos. Videos can be in any language and can be funny, serious, reverent, irreverent, heavily produced, animated or musical.
Take any approach you think best conveys the idea you are trying to promote. Be as creative and innovative as you like, but you’ll need to do it all in 1 to 3 minutes and your submission must be in .WMV video format.
