Phew!
New effective date for adding Lotus Messaging and Collaboration to IBM Software Value Plus
Lotus is extending the effective date for the addition of Lotus Messaging and Collaboration to IBM Software Value Plus to 28 February, 2011. This date extension gives our valued IBM Business Partners additional time to meet the IBM Software Value Plus requirements in order to continue to resell Lotus Messaging products, including Lotus Notes, Domino, Alloy and Lotus Protector. Business Partners can apply to resell this new group starting 3 January, 2011. Business Partners wanting to resell Lotus Notes and Domino will need:
• Any combination of two technical certifications or Technical Sales Masteries for Lotus Notes and Domino
• A valid PartnerPlan
• A passing score for the Notes Domino Sales Mastery Test, and
• Must apply and be approved into this IBM Reseller Authorization Group
That gives us hard working business partners another few weeks to tick the boxes.
