The clever folks over at National Geographic thought it would be a bit of a lark to actually build a house like the one in the wonderful Disney movie ‘Up’ and see if it really would fly using helium balloons.
So here’s a reminder of how it looks in the film:

Yes, its only a 16′ x 16′ mockup, but it did reach an altitude of 10,000 feet and flew for approximately an hour.
Now that’s cool!
