Embed Audio and Video. Just Drag and Drop.
If you’re using a HTML5 browser like Safari 5 or Firefox, you can now take advantage of Drag and Drop for attaching files and documents to Confluence. Try dragging documents, images and even multimedia – Flash, Quicktime, Windows Media etc – straight from your Desktop into the Confluence Rich Text Editor. Confluence will not only attach the file to the page but insert the content into the page for you too. It couldn’t be easier to create pages full of rich content.
Let’s take a tutorial video, saved in Flash, as an example. Dragging the file into the Confluence Rich Text Editor does two things:
1.        Attaches the file to the page
2.        Inserts the video into the page for playback using the Multimedia Macro
If you need to change the height and width, or specify the video to play automatically when the page loads, you can do so via the Macro Browser.
Whether you’re looking for feedback, or just want to share something interesting, Confluence makes it quick and easy to share videos and audio with your colleagues.

An Extended, Better Looking Code Macro
The all-new and improved Code Block Macro, let’s you share snippets of code – HTML, C++, Java, Python, Ruby, and more. Choose from 20 different syntax highlighting options, toggle the display of line numbers, and apply a code theme like Emacs. There are dozens of combinations to choose from, making it really easy to share and document snippets of frequented code with your team.

With Confluence 3.5 the editing experience just got a whole lot richer.
